  1. Just downloaded Themes Creator & realised that the phone doesn’t even support hthe themes made by a SE program! So, overall, NO themese can be sent/downloaded to this phone.

    PROS:
    1) User-friendly walkman interface
    2) Decent battery life (esp. when using
    Walkman)
    3) Games are downloadable to phone(Just not
    motion gaming)
    4) Internet use isn’t bad, can watch videos on
    Youtube, etc
    5) Sound quality & BASS is great, considering I
    like my music.

    CONS:
    1) Phone has HUGE hang time
    2) SMS system is poor
    3) SMS memory can only hold approx. 100 texts?
    4) Again, hang time when looking through File
    Manager
    5) No CD or User Manuel
    6) Button doesn’t work on the earphones
    7) NO motion gaming; Anything SE says about it
    is BS.
    8) Camera is more like VGA; even at 2MP (My old
    Samsung E840 looked better with same 2MP)

    I wouldn’t recommend buying this phone unless you have a tight budget to spend on a phone. Overall, the phone is NOT user-friendly.

    My rating: 5/10 – It would be 4/10 but the Walkman lifted the score šŸ™‚

    you can modify the available themes in a compatible theme for W395.

    it’s a bit work you’d to do. šŸ˜€

I was purchased one Sony Ericsson W395 in 01/03/2010 under warrenty. but that phone was complaint, that is in slider is cloused hearing end noice is there, Slider is open no noice.already i give to Customer care till now it is not receified. If any customer care Number is known please tell me.

    whn i play normal song and ring thyen complate but when i set song in profile then not voice come clear so help me

  18. i recently purchased this cell..no themes..
    no use of memory card xcept songs..
    more msges like nokia cant be stored..limited to 100..
    no zoom in normal mode..no function to rotate the pictures…
    i m just regretting 4 buying it

  21. Rohit, camera quality is poor. This phone is good to listen to music and perhaps the best in listening to music but for all other things it is very bad.

  22. hai nw only u all realise that. i am already having all this problems plus wallpapers clarity,camera,keypad so worst.operating time is so delay,lot of hanging when doing something in mobile,shake control facility is not available,when we compare this to china mobiles this w395 mobile so worst worst worst………… no solution yet now i get it so i feel very bad of it all this problems are also available n se f305………….

  28. i love sonyericsson… i always loved there walkman phones, i think i’ve had 3 walkman phones. i always buy them every time i lost a phone or it just gave up on me after a long period of use. but the last one i bought the w395, is i think the lowest quality out of all the walkman phones i’ve had, i mean the graphics…-CONS: *2 MP, but it seems like it’s only VGA. *and i don’t like the headset that came with it, it’s a good thing i still have my old headset that is compatible with any earphone, headphone, and speaker. *can’t download themes! hu-what!!! PROS: luckily it’s loud, and that, “i love!” and the design is actually nice. and i can watch full screen…over all i would love if i could download themes, but i can’t so i just have to be content with what i have.. ; )

  41. Yeah! The cute,sleek looks and the really good audio quality impressed me….I’m not that into mobile gaming as such…but ya,themes missing is hurting compared to nokia…now I realise why Nokia sells,man their phones may not be that sleek,but they do give an overall package…

    AND I DON’T LIKE IT WHEN IT SAYS MESSAGE MEMOTY FULL!!!

    I mean why don’t you use the phone or card memory for messages….Texting is very essential for me…MAN THIS IS REALLY BAD,SONY you must give enough importance to MESSAGING options!

  48. I saved money and bought this phn, but just moments after startin the phn I repented buying it. What the f**k is this, walkman phn with no MEGA BASS, can’t get new themes, no copy paste function while messaging,ugly font used,can’t create a back up of contacts in the memory card, v cards ar not compatible, no pc suite,the interface is also bad not typical SE type, camera quality is poor(w810i has also got a 2mp camera but the quality is so good)! Its the worst phn by SE, I’ll say my old w200i has more features and is better than this phn!a
