i’ve had this phone for awhile and it freezes and its slow as hell and it don’t get the messages like forever i hate this phone it just takes forever to do everything on this phone mine started acting up like 2 days after i got it……

WHEN I SET A 40SEC RING TONE OR EVEN A SHORTER ONE IT WILL NOT FULLY PLAY WHEN I RECEIVE A TXT MESSAGE. IT WILL ONLY PLAY LIKE THE 1ST 4 SECONDS OF THE SONG. HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM? ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF & IVE TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF TO FIX IT.
How Do I Change Speed Dial? Please Help!
For anyone who has just bought this phone a warning: RETURN IT. Get a year into this stupid phone and it will quit on you. I used to like the LG neon until it turned a year old. Now it only works when the sim card is NOT in, which is useless. And all it does is flash on the TE365 screen with the red circle. Cant use it…Cant do anything with it. Not to mention it shuts off randomly and the battery life is insignificant. So disappointed in this phone and I think that LG should just give up making useless technology. Kthanks.
all i have to say is that this phone SUCKS
The phone is alright, shuts down randomly, lags badly (when I call people, I usually cannot hear their first hello, because the phone hasn’t caught up yet). But as far as ringtones go, the mp3 just needs to be under 300kb in order for it to recognize it as a ringtone, which is stupid considering some factory tones are over 500kb.
I bought this phone thinking it was a great phone. I ended up paying $137 for it at the AT&T store and it lags bad. I have a problem with mine wanting to shut itself off occasionally when I’m typing a text and has even shut off in the middle of a call. It lags when I have a certain amount of messages in the inbox or a certain number of calls on the log. I loved the phone at first but now, I believe for $137 I could have bought 3 or 4 better phones for alot better price.
THIS PHONE IS COMPLETE GARBAGE
btw mine came with a headset, but no computer cable thing
Mine randomnly shuts off in the middle of a text or basically every 2 minutes
AND it takes forever to load up and stop lagging
the key board is crap too cause the buttons are hard to press so i end up pressing each letter twice just to get it to show up
and sometimes when i call it doesn’t even ring and goes straight to the person picking up
my friend has had troubles with this phone to the point where she had to slide it half way just to see the screen
final point,
waste of your money, no matter how many times you bring it for repair or get a new phone, the LG Neon (the one that came a bit more then a year ago) IS CRAP
and if your love it that’s your problem, i’m with rogers, not gonna lie, i can probably get double as many things with the money i’m paying them, a complete waste

Hoping this helps i read a lot of the comments and 1) to use the radio find the headphones and plug them in….. 2) You cannot use normal headphones for the lg when you bought it they should have given it to you!!!! So i would check with whoever you bought it from!!!! 3) To change the themes go to Menu, Settings , Display (it may be all the way at the bottom) then scroll down to themes and for me I only have 2 choices Black or White personally i think the white is better

Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate!
No USB cable. Proprietary connector. Bluetooth useless to connect to PC for file transfer. Random shut-offs due to flimsy materials. Touch screen for dialing only. No software. Non-existent customer support. Crap website. LG, I HATE YOU!
The phone is not terrible but i didnt have it even for a full year and it broke. also after a while all the keys become very stiff and dont work well and you have to use all your strength to press one button..
How on earth can i delete the demo games from this phone? please anyone?
Out of all the phones ive had in my life this one is my LEAST favorite. i liked it ok when it was working but-one day i saw smoke just pouring out of my purse i open it and saw that my phone (lg neon) was SMOKING. after a few minutes it stopped and my phone was fine for the next few weeks. Then one day i was in the movies with my friends and all of the sudden while im texting my phone starts smoking again! The screen went blank and has never turned on again. And this is only a few months after i bought it. I didnt do anything to it i PROMISE. i wouldnt suggest investing your money in this “smoking hot” phone

i just got this phone about 5 hours ago and it is so slow. i don’t know what to say! i just read the reviews and i saw that the phone starts to cut off randomly and i am afraid that its going to happen to my phone! any advice or tricks about the phone?
LG never was a mobile phone maker and they have all hardware and software engineering problems. They are loosing the market progressively, as they experiment customer’s money for making a better mobile and not their own engineering…!!
I had two bad experiences and I couldn’t do anything about it. I never heard that this could happen with Nokia or Samsung products… I’m frustrated and I truly think that they have to stop making mobile phone… They have to leave job to the companies who are able to handle it. Who leaves the job of a mason to a plumber? Of course LG… Don’t buy their phones anymore…!!
I have had this phone for a while and as the last one on this board i have read almost all of the comments and thanks to all by the way for mentioning your interesting challenges.
In my case I inadvertently deleted the default song (beautiful day). It is still in recent songs but does not show up in default ring tones anymore so I can’t play it. Why won’t changing ringtones work any other way? Can I get this phone reset by someone so that song shows up in default again?
This is a brand new phone purchased in Jan 2011. Is it different from the rest of the phones on this page I think. Bought a Walmart. Wonder if they will exchange?
this phone sucks it goes dead constently like it just shuts off even on full battery and is only touch screen on the numbers and u cant get pics off it get a iphone insted… 😛

Don’t know about the rest but I do know about the manual issue. As they keep adding and changing capabilities on the phone the instructions will change to keep up with the new abilities. Also, it is an impossible task to know who has the phone and who may have sold or given it away. For these reasons the manuals are now in electronic form and are available online.
When the phone I was using dies and I needed a replacement phone for a few days I borrowed a TE365. It took about 15 min to get one online.
