At this moment, I’ll try what Sashti had said. If you really like sonny ericsson (walkman) it’s better to purchase W595 series. You can download many games and themes

  3. GUys! I’m really depressed. Same problem with W395 is says that error cannot open kinda like that any solutions. I tried the common game sites.

  4. didnt they explain to you guys? this phone cannot get any more themes… u cant download or wih bluetooth it… go complain to Sony company la… when ppl already told you… SE W395 does not support themes other than stored in the mobile. So you cannot try any other themes.

  6. hi W395 supports ONLY .Jar files……

    there are no themes available for W395,
    except t inbuilt themes…
    all kind of games are supporting by this mobile dwnld t games according to its resolution…

    themes are not available for our W395 only games are available…

  12. i bought this phone for my son for his birthday as he likes games, songs and themes.
    we are so dissapointed witj this phone. it is crap i also have a disc with sony games on. it wont even accept them . so disappointed!

  16. same prOblem..i can’t downLoad other themes using this phOne..i tried to share fiLes from anOther sony ericsson phone to my phOne,stiLL compatibiLity is an issue..and i’m having probLems with the internet settings..it says that it’s having problems with the java settings but when i checked sOny ericcson’s support site,stiLL it can’t find any soLutions to my probLem..can you pLease heLp me with this probLems..asap!!!^-^

  17. I have got this phone too, i have always had Nokia’s and i wish i had stayed with Nokia, i can’t do anything on this phone. does anyone know how to get the java settings for it??? cheers

  19. go to sony ericsson website, download the newest theme creator, there is an option for the W395 model, get the pictures you want and use the easy to use wizard to create any theme you like, have fun 🙂

  20. yaa, same problem.i didn’t find any theme on net.i am also facing equalizer problem.its not working properly.after one song disable of equalizer.no motion games.n what is photo fix,its really use less.

  22. Cool Cell I Bought it like 4 mounth’s now but … i bought w395 (duskyPurple) cus its really cool and the color fits my room =D And Cool Speakers and FUCK THE SMS SYSTEM and it can only keep 100 messages BOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCK YOU ERICSON =D

  26. This phone cannot use java apps. trying to install google maps / opera mini gives ‘contact operator for java settings’ error. Also cannot be used as moden despite sony site saying it can. I hate to negative but this phone is a con unless they quickly release firmware for it that sorts out the above. The phone hardware is capable, it’s firmware is not.

  27. the camera will takes photos very shadely and be moreover the phone was strucking so many times.finally its not work properly.

    For providing internet access to java options u have to select an internet profile in “Settings for java” under connectivity in settings.

  29. i bought this phone recently and i feel it is perfect phone. just except when you are playing music the battery runs out faster. but that is obvious. and those who are not finding themes or games for this phone should know that one buying any phone of walkman series must know that it is emphasized on music and sound. as far as other functions are concerned a phone on which u can listen, speak and send sms is enough. perfect phone with reasonable price.

  30. i bought this phone 5 days back and seems to me an awesome looking phone with great sound as well as superb stereo speakers. Themes i m not so fond of anyway so it is no big deal. Games run fine,camera works as expected of 2mp camera. great phone for its price.

  32. This phone is a stylish phone with Very high sound! It has high sound as China Mobiles!!!
    The battery backup is quite satisfactory!
    It is also price efficient!
    I got this phone at Rs 7800!

    The only Problem i’m facing is that the themes are not downloaded from the any site!
    Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz………… If anybody had downloaded any theme then tell me how you have done it!!

  35. this mobile is like the worst i hv ever had…i m a gadget freak and i bought this hoping it would do well but it is jus plain sh*t ppl…. plz don not buy this mobile phone… go for the g502. it is awesome. and one more problem in the phone(w395) is damn slow and hangs lik S**T. i am jus FU***d up right now…..

  36. this phone disappointed me as a phone you should be able to text allot on it, after only 4 months the keys came through the keypad and failed i wouldn’t recommend this phone!

    but this w395 made me upset cant get any themes for it n v hav to use the same preloaded themes its fucking very much… very limited applications etc…

  39. haiiiiiiiii i hav bought this phone lost 5 days it is working good but some problems there like camera and themes but sound is good it cost is 7200

    i have installed lot of games like contra, ferrari, nfs street, nfs mw, bike race, mr.bean race, transformers, cricket, GTA, etc., in my w395!! it is working superbly…
    if any one want games mail me i will attach for you…
    Pls don’t blame ERICSSON.. i have never seen such a best features& performance in any other company mobiles… ERICSSON is No:1 best mobile production company…

Hi guyz, i bought ma w395 a month ago from the mobile store, and it works like shit. this is ma first phone and al the glory of having a new mobile went down the drain on the 3rd day itself. whenever i play any song via music player it hangs, cnt do anything but remove the battery. nw whn i try to start a java web app it says “please contact your operator for java internet settings”, wat the f**k. what am i suppose to do? someone plz help me. cnt find anything on net. PLZ HELP………….

    I have also purchased this phone .. I was a big fan of sony ericon i used z550i before this one .. seems like there are a lot of compatibility issues ..
    1) it did not copy the phone numbers properly from my older phone .. for some reasons .. the name seems reversed.. last name first and vice- verca I have tried to change the opion to reverse the order in new phone .. but no help it remains the same
    2)It does not accept or send buisness card from /to older sony ericson phones like .. Z5501 and I have also checked wid cybershotphone if you try sending a business card, It sends a blank message instead
    3) As is much evident from the previous posts .. the themes… we cant send theme even from other sony phones. the format is not supported ..
    I guess this phone is not backward compatible .. I am really disappointed .. any advice 🙁

  49. I just bought the w395 too and it actually sucks… Its not a Sony phone but a sagem re branded for Sony ericsson. Sagem actually sucks!
