  1. I am very much glad to have this phone. I’ve recently bought it. But I am facing problem while searching for theme for Sony Ericsson W395. As I could mot get any theme from any website. It would be very helpful for me if you can provide any solution.

  3. hahaha! me too.. i just bought my new SE w395. i asked my friends who have sony ericsson unit to send me themes via bluetooth. but it seems the format of my phone’s theme is not compatible to theirs. so i browsed the net to find one but i also had the same problem as you guys.. i can’t find one. maybe because the model is still new that’s why the availability of the theme is still limited. just a guess..

  4. i felt terribly troubled when i could not find any theme in the net for this W395 i’ve recently bought. i really hope u guyz could somehow alert or juz post the website for the theme here if it is found. i would really appreciate it alot!! 🙂

  8. I also just bought this new phone, i also face the same proble, cant find any theme for this handphone… i think this handphone only good in music….

  9. I found it quite annoying to msg with as the letters are so small, and the calender system is not as user friendly as the previous mobiles i purchased. It may be good for music , but it isn’t for working purposes.

    hence, I wish you (SONY ERICSSON COMPANY) could provide use themes we could use..PLEASE???PLEASE???SUPER PLEASE!!!!!!..

  15. well.. i have been facing the same prob too.. as in the themes i cant find it anywhere on the internet.
    and the msg system is odd..
    usually we dont have to save the msg and it will be send out but for this phone we have to save it and if too much msg, it will say:”memory full, send without saving?” actually this is not needed…
    i do hope that the themes for this phone would come out soon cause that whenever a new phone is out there should at least be some themes for ppl to download it or at least receive the themes from other ppl, but it doesnt match, it doesnt happen to all sony phone except for this.. is really disappointing..

  17. wtf? an uncompatible se phone holy sh*t. when I first saw this phone I drooled with delight,and with Father’s Day around the corner my eyes dialated,now after listening to one the many features se phones r famous for, I’ll have to search for another. For Mother’s Day I bought my wife the TM506,activated her bluetooth and immediately pulled a theme from one of the sites that I visit from another model, no problem, i don’t know……

  19. I’M ALSO HAVING SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS PHONE.IT HAS VERY LIMITED FUNCTION ONLY. DID U ALL NOTICED THAT WE CANNOT COPY THE WRITTEN TEXT.

  22. If you want music only then buy it. If you want a phone as well then don’t bother. Not compatible with other SE phones, extremely basic, very poor functionality.

  25. I think you hav to use a program called x++ to load the themes.I used to have w580i an by using this software I used to upload flash themes on the phone. It also slows you to delete them useless protected files such us ringtones. I think that’s the only way of uploading a theme and using it on w395i.

    If you will download this software make sure you read the tutorial befoure you use it becouse it’s pretty complicated to use

  29. Guys, do not waste your time in looking for new themes for this phone as it does NOT support it.Your efforts will just be futile.You can only use the preinstalled themes that comes with the phone when you buy it. You will just waste your time ranting all you want.

  31. i still have the old k790i but its rock solid and bulky and very sturdy dropped it 2 times myself ! donno how many times it was dropped b4 bought it for seconds @5.4k lol ! and it has awesome java and theme support + music is also cool except the stereo speakers have weakened saddest thing is its production is stopped !

    a CELLPHONE S.E.k750 i and that PHONE have a folder cold themes WHEN WE OPEN THE PC , and there we can change the themes,but in the CELLPHONE S.E. w 395, I CANNOT CHANGE THE THEMES,PLEASE HELP ME TO KNOW HOW TO DO,BECOUSE HE DOESN’T EXIST A FOLDER TO DEPOSE THEMES

    i bought same mobile, used only for 5days now my mobile in service center for past 20 days…

    poor service, i faced slide problem and mike problem. I just claimed my money back to retailer

  39. Hi Mobile freaks,
    FYI, SE W395 does not support themes other than stored in the mobile. So you cannot try any other themes. Hope this gives answer for your long search.

  43. The price of Sony Erisson W395 is 135 euros in European Union.

    That makes about 193 dollars, but it should be a bit cheaper in the United States and Canada.

    there is a software provided specially for ERICSSON users to design their own themes…!
    U can use you photos as the theme!!
    Its true… Try that… Software name is THEME CREATOR search in google guys…
    if you can’t get means just mail me i will upload for you…

  50. How to install software like gmaps,dictionary it is not supporting it shows “file could not be read or saved” can u guys give solution for this!!!!!!!!!!!
