Now Nokia has over 3, love the phone, but can 't seem to upload mp3s. All ideas about how to do it, or is there another phone are that the leaves do this?

Or go on line and download the relevant software for your Nokia.
Sony Ericsson is by far the easiest and most user friendly make of phone… for everything!!
Try this for uploading music to your phone: (I do this using windows xp)
Connect your phone using the USB cable which is usually supplied.
Right click with your mouse on the ‘start’ tab on the bottom left hand side of your screen then click on ‘explore’ which should be the second option down in the box. Then select the program/file that you usually use to store your music. Choose the track that you want. Drag and drop it straight into your phone (which should show up on the column on the left hand side)
The music should then be on your phone!
This site is great for downloading ringtones
