  1. All I wanted was a phone that played good ringtones, and took good pictures and videos for a reasonable price. This is not the phone. 1. After having multiple texts on file, it is sometimes hard to find the new and most recent one that just came in. You sometimes have to scroll through all your sent and recieved msgs to find the new one. 2.Boost set it up where you can only purchase their ringtones, no 3rd partys. They sound like shit on this phones, all crackly and poor quality. 3.When opening an email with pictures, you cant, it will ask you to insert your memory card. 4.Camera is in an awkward spot. No matter how hard you try, your finger will always get in the way. This phone should only be brought if you just want to buy your kid a basic phone that doesnt do shit! When I call customer svc, they always tell me, we are working on the issues! But in reality they arent working on anything but more ways to take your money for a shitty phone!

  2. Guess who’s back? J-M-E-S! Back to tell you more problems. I can’t view photos or send photos, whoopty doo. Because of a stupid firmware update that I got that ACTUALLY solved a lot of problems like freezing, etc. But it caused 2 problems and many extra things. I can’t view photos or send photos. Whenever I send a text message SOMETIMES it will fail when sending. And this week was the first time my phone actually froze. I hate the Sanyo Incognito. I blame Sanyo for this. =.=

JMES was sooo happy to read your comments you are having same issues as me. can you tell me more about the picture issue you are having? my incognito is only about 3months old and suddenly i can no longer view or send pic messages and can no longer take pics, i get a mssg that says save error. i have tried to call tech support and they were clueless! im about to throw this phone across the room

  8. To everyone complaining about battery life: Did you charge it all day before turning the phone on the first time? I have watched over 20 videos on youtube, been texting all day, and had some phone calls, and still have a full battery. I charge my phone twice a week over night…..

  10. I THOUGHT IT WAS TOO GO TO BE TRUE AND IT IS. I HAVE THE MEM CARDS, WANT TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC. WENT TO RADIOSHACK, TECH SOLD ME A USB WIRE TO CONNECT TO MY PC AND TO MY CELL TO DWNLOAD MUSIC, YEAH RIGHT, WIZARD AS FOR A DISK, NEVER HAD ONE. I WENT ONLINE, RESEARHED AND CAME UP WITH SOME IDEN DRIVER TO ASSIST ME IN LOADING. ALMOST THERE AND IT’S SAY ERROR UNABLE TO INSTALL DRIVER ON UR PHONE. 27 BUCKS FOR A USB LINE THAT DOES JACK. SO MUCH FOR BEING ABLE TO PLAY MUSIC. AT&T HAD A CHEAPER PHONE 3 YRS AGO THAT PLAYED BY SAMSUNG THAT PLAYED MUSIC. BOOST IS GARBAGE AND I’M TAKING THAT USB LINE BACK TO RADIO SHACK FOR MY MONEY. BLACKBERRIES GET A CONNECT LINE BUT WITH INCOGNITO U HAVE TO PURCHASE ONE AND FOR WHAT: TO TAKE BACK AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK. WHAT A RIP OFF. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PHONE TO ANYONE AND WHEN IT DIES OUT, I’M GOING BACK TO AT&T .

  11. this phone is terrible. it constatnly freezes, and i have sprint, and they r too frikin lazy to send me a differnt phone. i have gotten several updates and have visited the sprint store to get it fixed and it just keeps freezing. the internet is slow, the phone lags after 160 character text messages and will skipover words, the phone is unfixable and is just about useless. my advice, do not buy it, it is a waste of money, and is so cheap that it dosnt even have a real touch screen. annd sprint is way to stupid to realize that it happens to just about all the incognitos out there, and refuse to send me a differnt phone evn though it is clearly stated in the contract.

  13. ok check this out guys…. i really dont believe how ignorant most of you sound tbh. if you have that much of a problem with your phone when you got it… like why dont you take it back or send it back with the warranty that youd be stupid not to get seeings how it comes with it already… and then get a new phone..? like ok… the first incognito i bought for 130 it lasted awhile… bought the 4 gig memory card… and the sd card reader for my laptop… then i went and downloaded opera mini browser 5 i think it is now.. added it to one of my favorites…. and make another one of my favorites my music folder on my memory card… then on my opera mini browser after i got all firmware updates i added on my speed dial sites like http://www.myxer.com & http://www.google.com & http://www.beemp3.com & http://www.4shared.com & http://www.youtube.com & http://www.listentoyoutube.com & http://www.mp3buzz.org because you see i love downloading music so i get my ringtones off myxer that i customly make on my laptop with wavepad sound editor and downloading music from frostwire and like youtube downloader and makin the video into mp3 and croppin and gettin 40 seconds of whatever song i want for a ringtone or i record my own mp3s with freemp3recorder and i am my own artist on myxer and i can make any tone edited or unedited 40 seconds for my sanyo incognito scp 6760 which is the silver version but other than that the tones tend to make ur phone freeze a bit here and there…. but the battery trick works fine with me. if i cant find the songs im lookin for on beemp3/mp3buzz/or 4shared, i go to youtube, find the song im lookin for, write down the full url address for that video, go make another tab in opera browser, go to http://www.listentoyoutube.com and type in the full address, yeah it might take a lil time to do all this stuff but im just tellin you guys the stuff i know that i dont see online really much in which i had to look everywhere and learn from people the tricks i know but other than that just remember that you always want to check for firmware updates and ur prl version just upgrades the signal ur gettin to ur phone and it doesnt really do anything to ur phone. opera mini browser 5, 4 gig or higher memory card, get ahold of me guys im really smart with this phone and im trying to learn actually more and more about them my email address is puppy_dawg_al@msn.com in the subject line make sure you put sanyo incognito scp 6760 in the subject line so i know where the emails are comin from so i know who im dealing with and id love to help ya guys with all i know. very good phone in my honest opinion though 15 out of 10 by far you treat it well and you will be treated well as well by it. remember that guys and get at me with questions at my email address puppy_dawg_al@msn.com thanks guys!!!

  14. Umm this phone SUCKS! I have had it for barely a year and now it wont charge! I plug it in the charger and it still doesnt work. And it freezes 24/7 it sucks!

  16. My old phone is a Boost Clutch and it just died yesterday… well not totally died if you plug it in and REMOVE the battery… I can see contacts and messages… REALLY!! B.U.T I do not have service!! My only concern is that will my contacts/messages/pictures/calendar info transfer to any new phone I decide on?

  18. i like the phone. various pros and cons. bad things; 1. it takes me a long time to receive messages. 2 it freezes alot. 3 the front touchscreen sometimes doesnt work. 4 when you play certain songs it will shut the whole phone off and it wont turn back on for a while. 5 the earphone jack is 2.5 millimeters instead of 3.00 millimeters which is the one that ipods use. good things 1. great download speed for internet and songs 2 great audio playback for the songs. 3 cool looking phone 4 great memory space. 5 allows you to customize your home screen with tiles or bubbles the tiles can be i.e youtube facebook twitter fox news espn and that kind of stuff . well i give it a 3 out of 5..

  19. I DO NOT LIKE THIS phone and wish I’d kept my old one that was raggedy from use but a lot easier to use. This one LOOKED good but it is RIDICULOUS that they didn’t see that WE couldn’t see anything on the screen in daylight! That is just preposterous and I honestly want to take it back, but now that I’ve bought so many ACCESSORIES for the thing, I’d lose money on it. I HATE THAT I BOUGHT IT!

  20. ive had this phone for about a year now and i love it. It works better than my boyfriends android and has a much better design. PROS: the keyboard is amazing. It works very well with internet video. Has a great display both out and in. (even though the outside one is very basic). Touch screen on the outside works very well. Good battery life. Ability to do almost anythuing a smartphone can for ALOT cheaper. Cons: after a year the paint starts to chip off. And thats about all i can think of.

  21. the phone is alright i text like ima machine but i dont like the battery life i charged it last night then i went to school then i wanted to check the time it was no bars on the battery. Second is keypad is good until it freezes i rather open the phone go to contacts pick sombody and call the bitch like a old ass flip phone. When its hot outside and im sweating i cnt push end so i have to open it and push end BS Third speakerphone i need that incase if my hands are full but the phone does has a cool voice command works great i keep telling it to call voicemail just for fun. You tube sucks idc about the small screen but it sticks like a bitch finaly why have a mp3 player with headset earpiece really wtf y not regular earphones u dumbasses Phone is okay instead of getting the incognito i should gotten a blackberry or a ragedy ass metro pcs phone this phone should worth 50 dollars yes im black

  22. This phone is terrible. I know they have taken it off of the market after a short period of time. And I wish I was later than when they stopped producing them. The phones battery is good. But it seems not to work when you are in cold weather. It seems not to get all of messages that are send to you. It seems not to work in the cold at all. THE PHONE FREEZES. all the time the phone is freezing. It freezes at different times… And you have to take the battery out. And sometimes when you put the battery back in the phone there Is an error screen and you can’t do anything. I have had 2 of these phones because the first one was determined to be “DEFECTIVE”. On the new phone it is worse than the old phone so I don’t believe that it was defective. And the vibrate is loud for some weird reason I haven’t figured out… You can’t put music from your iTunes account onto it. The outer screen barley ever works. And why does it not save passwords on the Internet? Even on the Facebook app it takes you to the internet and you have to long in every time. I would have to say that I txt very fast, and am impatient..and it takes along time to start a txt after you press the reply button. Also it takes a long time to close a program, start a program. And when ever you get a txt when you are writing a message it will take at-least 5 seconds for the other message to show up, then you have to wait to get back to typing. So all I have to say is.. DO NOT BUY THE SANYO INCOGNITO. Oh and while I’m at it, I still have a year to an upgrade and am planning on just not having a phone this phone is so bad.

  23. I believe this too be the best phone i have ever owned now let me tell you why.
    I am a mechanic, and very hands on laborer. If you want durable and sleek this is it.
    I have the same issues of freezing but “i have thrown this phone dozens of times and it hasn’t broken. lets see your iphone do that”
    “dropped it in the rain and in the snow” yeah you heard that right
    ran it over with my car after dropping it in the snow only to realize a hour later i lost my phone and went back to get it and found it ringing under the fluffy stuff, “can your black berry do that”
    the seek and rumor phones you cant type in the top row of the key pad unless you have nails. I’m a guy umm no nails
    the mirrored front has actually came in handy when i needed to see the back of the engine i was laying on.
    there is the down side to all phones but for what i need it for its perfect.
    shoot someone a text with dirty fingers? no problem brake fluid wont eat these buttons like it does your touch screen.
    the carousel needs to be a little better so you can save passwords to your favorite sites but at least you do have a web browser. and yes Google is a mans best friend. he don’t like to ask for directions but he will ask Google a firing order on your truck if he don’t know.
    I had the same incognito since the first week they came out for boost and nobody could get one cause they were all sold out…but anyways until this week when the kids lost it..or the dog ate it..woman still wont tell me which. so when she asked what phone i wanted this time went and bought another trusty old incognito. i probably wont throw this one as much.

  24. I just bought the phone today. Anyone had problems trying to get the gps to work? I clicked “ok ” on locater. then when i go to the ‘carousal’ navigation button…it says the software is not compatible with my incognito..wtf!? it says it is on the package!!! ugh…. help anyone?

    This is my first qwerty cell phone..it’s way better than a normal flip phone..
    cons: i wish i could actually scroll down a screen while looking at internet pages. If i listen to a song, it will stop playing when i leave the screen. my old flip phone kept playing the song even when i looked at something else. front touchscreen is kinda cool, but wish the viewing screen was bigger and didn’t have to flip the phone open all the time
    pros: I do like the message threading. I actually like the mirror front, it does smudge alot though. automatically saving text drafts is cool

  25. Its a pretty good phone got abt a month ago. The only downside abt the phone is that the batter last only about a day. Your gunna have to charge it daily other than Thats the phone is really good. Really worth the th money!!!

  27. frankly lemme just put in a teenage girls input for the parents reading this.
    i really love this phone but a small thing that may cause an issue for your child is you have to have the phone completely open to take a picture which can be an inconvinience.
    also you cannot answer texts from the front, but i do love this phone. its great for a starter phone and i would recommend it to anyone. 4 stars(:

Brah half yall taking bout its a bad phone because you gotta open it and shit everyone who is making a big deal over a phone yall are lucky to even have a phone some people dont have anythign you should be happy with what you got. i have this phone & yes its kinda shit but im not making a big deal outta it because im lucky to have one and people who are saying that its bad because you have to open it when your driving to text your NOT even supossed to be texting and driving thats bad! soo justbe happy with what you have and if your not go get a new phone and quit making a big deal over a cell phone.

I have had this phone for some time and it freezes all the time if I am texting while getting a text or get more than one text at the same time etc.I like the fact I can use opera mini on it the web browser that it comes with isnt that great. also cuting an mp3 adding a pic and making it a 3pg file just to get a custome ringtone come on. cant see durning the day. you cant listen to a song while going thru your music list. the list goes on smh. I got this phone so I wouldnt use all of my air time on my hero I am just using that for work now.

  30. I’ve had my phone for a little over a year now; It’s not the best phone.
    I really dislike this phone,the only reason I choose to keep it is because I don’t have the money to go out and but a new one.
    It fails to send messages & doesn’t tell you, the facebook design doesn’t keep you logged in, it doesn’t receive messages fastly, nor receive calls. It also freezes, & when you use the internet it takes forever to load.

  32. ok I posted last year on july 5 so Ive had the phone for almoat a year is it worth the lmost 200 i paid for it no… when you are talking your ear or cheek touches it it clicks over for three way… it freezes constantly while looking at youtube it shuts off the battery life is a** every time i go on a social network i have to keep logging its not woth it the silver paint is peeling and thats on everyone that ive seen keep ur money honey.

  34. Ive had this phone for over a month now and havent had any problems with it yet. So far its a pretty good phone. Great for texting. Fast internet while using mini opera. Battery life is ok.

  36. I had this phone for a year and a half, i made it a total of 3days before my first issue, since then i run into major problems DAILY!! 1. If u recieve a text or pic msg while viewing, sending, or writing a text/pic mail msg, the phone will freeze for 5-30sec and if you pull the battery and restart it you will lose the txt u were recieving. 2. It loves to recieve double texts. 3. The menues and file xfer menus are very clumsy and slow to respond. 4. If u have to send multiple txts in one when it goes into multimsg mode the screen is very clumsy and slow. 5. If ur watching a video while u recieve a call u cannot answer that call even if u exit the video. 6. It sometimes randomly freezes for no reason. 7. Recording quality is terrible. 8. Pic/video quality is fair at best. 9. Drops calls often with full signel. 10. Sometimes delays/fails sending texts without notifying you. 11. If you use multimedia battery drains from full to dead in -2hrs Overall: 0.5/5 btw. I have ZERO apps on it, never had any either.

  37. This phone is not good at all. I have to take the battery out to restart it if I get two texts at the same time. My battery won’t hold a charge for more than a half an hour anymore. Whenever it freezes (which is usually like every five minutes) I have to restart it all over again. Half the time I don’t get texts because I have to restart it by taking the battery out. And then my friends have to text me again asking me why I haven’t replied.
