Here are our impressions after 30 days of use of the Samsung JET
The display is very bright and largely solves the problem, showed very little evidence of who usually phones, visibility outside with lots of light, like this season.
In the case of the Samsung Jet, when you are not engaging in direct sunlight, in shadow you can not see well enough who is calling on the phone, unlike what happened with earlier TFT resistive.
The battery does not have much life (1.5 to 3 days), despite the declared low AMOLED screen compared to the traditional (-40%).
One wonders what numbers are the ones who never give more than 400 hours in stand-by.
Another problem is that, arrived at the last notch, the battery ‘died’ suddenly, without warning.
The touch screen is taken up quite readily, although it is preferable to increase the contact area, working inch.
The volume of ring tones, the volume of listening and sensitivity of the antenna are among the best.
I have not yet experienced its functions such as FM radio, camera and video camera, but frankly I was more interested in the compact size, low weight, the visibility of the display in all conditions and quality of the sound of the ringing and listening: from these points of view, the phone is exceptional.
I do not share the choice of the Route 66 program, which enables navigation functions: the license for 2 years costs 129.90 euro, but with that amount you can buy Garmin or TomTom Navigator kind or other, with the license that expires never.
We hope that other manufacturers of navigation sw to arrange difference when the supply and bring down prices.
A lack of the Samsung S8000 is very important, called Jet, is the voice command to call, making it rather uncomfortable when I use the speakerphone in the car, since I need to start calling ‘fingers’.
Maybe it’s software problem?

After using the Samsung Jet for one month, here is exactly what I get:
THE GOOD: very good screen resolution and colors, but only in the shade.
THE BAD: extremely weak battery life. Half a day in average usage. The phone EATS the battery in a very high rate.
Screen not visible in sunshine.
Phone restarts by its self, this happens during using its menus. I have tried 2 phones same result.
Touch screen is not sensitive and phonebook freezes in the first 2 or 3 touch trials then responds easy. Very annoying. (don’t even think of comparison with iphone).
Extremely weak GPS, almost useless. Also you have to pay to use Route 66 GPS navigator.
No light color theme, all very are in dark background.
Browser does not re-arrange pages after enlarging. Very difficult to read pages after enlarging.
I did not succeed in opening a single flash file.
Power point files are not supported.
Body is very slippery it will fall from your hand for sure (someday).
It is not quick as expected, even with the 800mhz processor on board.
The NEW PCSTUDIO will not be installed on your computer if you are using Win7.
A Final word, this phone is not reliable, too much advertisement but reality is totally different.
The mobile is full pack with all the cool features.. and for quite reasonable price. But for my dissapointment the battery last not more than 1 day maximum 1.5( if I keep it on my shelf ). They claim to last 400 hours .. what a big lie.
hey brother.. i have mess up with the this menu. i changed some settings on video test mode. now when i turn on the camera,the whole phone get Freeze for 1 or 2 Minuit.then the phone automatically re start.then i update a new firmware & tried to update camera firmware,in test menu.but its always Failed. Please Bro Be kind enough to send me how to make it.thanx..
