Samsung Galaxy S5570 is an youthful smartphone with rounded design. It has capacitive touchscreen display of 3.14 inches, with resolution of 320×240 pixels and can display up to 256 000 colors.

Earlier this year, the manufacturer Samsung has unveiled its new Samsung S5570 Galaxy, young and modern smartphone that can be considered as the latest version lighter and cheaper than other Android models made by the producer.

We begin this review by having look at its technical specs.

As for network coverage, it is Dual Mode, and supports both the GSM network, in this case, Quadband, UMTS Dualband is network, using the whole the frequencies 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and 2100 MHz and full coverage excellent all over the world.

Samsung Galaxy Next allows you browse the Internet, with the HTML browser, and using its Wi-Fi connectivity, which lets you browse for free using hot spot in your area. The browsing speed is high, thanks to the HSDPA technology, which ensures transfer up to 7.2 mbps.

To synchronize data with other devices,  there are the USB port and Bluetooth. The smartphone is running on Android operating system version 2.2.1 and 600 Mhz processor, which ensures decent performance.

We continue our review with the detailed analysis of the Samsung S5570 Galaxy.

S5570 and has capacitive touchscreen, which allows easy navigation and features an accelerometer that is pinch-to-zoom function. It should be said that the resolution and colors are not exactly the height of the great smartphone, but are adequate for the price.

Another downside of this phoneare its multimedia functions, where there are no large numbers.  S5570 is equipped with an integrated low resolution camera of only 3 megapixels, so that you can take pictures and make videos, but they are in low quality.

The smartphone is equipped with media player that supports audio and video files in popular formats and FM radio with RDS, which allows you to easily find your favorite radio stations.  There is 3.5 mm connector to use your own headphones in case you like.

It provides easy access to sites such as Facebook or Twitter and helps you to stay updated on the activities of your contacts. This phone wants to be “young and modern” after all.

Galaxy S5570 is equipped with an internal memory of 160 MB that is expandable via microSD memory cards or up to 32 GB. The rechargeable Li-ion 1200 mAh battery provides up to 500 hours of standby and 4 hours talk time. The pack includes the battery charger, USB cable, headset, external 2GB microSD card and an user manual.

Samsung Galaxy S5570 is an entry level smartphone that has some interesting features such as HSDPA connectivity, Android OS, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack support.

But its display has quite low resolution and it is not able to display too many colors. Also, the camera is not that good.

Pros

  • Android OS
  • WiFI
  • touchscreen display
  • expandable memory
  • RSS feed reader

Cons

  • Internal memory
    no HD viewing and recording

  1. The HTC Sensation SUCKS because it has the QUIETEST ring. Even scrolled as high as can go, it is impossible to hear right in front of you even with the loudest tone selected. Found out others have this problem and it rates second to LAST in the decibels for ring. This in unalterable, so now I have to return mine and pay a 50 buck restocking fee — atleast I am in the 14 day period to return. And the t mobile office in loveland is like going to Motor Vehicles. Slow, understaffed, insompetant, and apathetic. Kill me now.

  2. I am using this handset and really appreciate you for such an informative content. you are describing this gadget in then real way.

  3. Looks a stylish phone, I wonder how the software compares to the higher end models like the 4S and the Blackberry Bold.
