N97 Mini is high quality smartphone produced by Nokia.
It is younger and smaller “brother” of the regular Nokia N97. It even has different design, with sliding opening and improved features.
This is Quadband GSM and UMTS equipped with HSDPA touchscreen display 3.2 megapixel resolution with 640×360 pixels and 16 million colors, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 8 GB of internal memory, Symbian OS v 9.4 S60 fifth edition, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity, integrated GPS receiver, Nokia Maps, media player and FM radio, video calling, proximity sensor, accelerometer and qwerty keyboard that pops up.
The Nokia N97 mini was first presenten on the 1st of September 2009 in Stuttgart.

Since the start of the recession, pay as you go mobile phones have been very popular. I am hoping Nokia gets wise and start asking it partners to offer the Nokia N97 on the pre-pay plans.
well, the n97 mini is actually a great phone.
On a different review that i’ve read, the writer had mentioned how Nokia actually had made a mistake in naming this phone the n97 mini in which actually killed the n97 mini’s rep the moment it was released.
If nokia had named in the N98 or N99 then maybe it’ll be easier for ppl to accept the phone.

There are some differences between N97 and mini version.
Hmmm, I don’t know people, but I am very dissapointed with Nokia N97 mini. I am lucky that I am able to return this phone in shop and take some other phone, but after N97 mini adventure, I am sure it will not be Nokia. Also now I understand why Nokia lose so rapid market share. Software on DVD, so slow, updates for PC so slow, opening internet site on N97 mini so slow, phone is not something what you need to buy at all. So from 1-10 (ten biggest and best), I will give Nokia “big” 2.
I hear about many ppl that n97 mini is not so good. I ordered it but will now cancel the order and go for the e72. Im still fan of nokia, but not every phone is good, same goes for every brand. All have good and shitty phones.
The n97 mini is a great phone if you don’t need to turn it off. I have had two in 3 weeks. Both had the same fault. When you turn it off it will not turn back on. Other than this it is a great phone and maybe even up with the Iphone. The App store is cheaper than the Apple one and with new apps every day its catching up with the Apple app store.
But I have now sent my second n97 mini back and have bought an iphone. I recommend that you DO NOT buy this phone if you want to turn it off, lol.

Have had this rnd 3-4 months and i think its good. All i wish for is for the ovi store to improve…thats what really lacks this phone to be great.
wouldnt recommend this phone. It does not get the reception for the network well! (its not my network’s fault)
had this phone for 3 month now and had nothing but trouble cutting people off on phone mid convo freezing all time and picks what ever ringtone it decides to play i really like the style off it but just doesnt work well girlfriend had it two but after taking it back twice she has now got the i phone

i have a n71 with me .it a superb one with no cmplints…but i want 2 use a touchscreen phone…..whts u guy’s opinion…am opting a N97 mini….will it substitute my E71!!!
n97 mini battery is not very good but its qwerty keypad is very easy to use. Touch screen is very responsive and i would say it is a buy.
No, you cannot connect this device to your wlan/ wifi. You can only use the greedy 3g.
Also you cannot drag and drop 99% of the apps, yep unless you download em thru the 3g

the mini is a piece of plastic filled with doom and gloom…nuthin but trouble for me…swaps and changes ringtones..battery has the life expectency of a unwanted fetus..and continually just turns off…then has a bipolar episode..deciding when it likes2 turn on….nokia congrates on makin a phone that suks people in 2 buy and then sends the buyer bonkers…500 dollars wasted and nuthin short of a peasant pice of equipment
This is the worst phone I have ever had.
The hardware is pretty nice but the software is terrible. Battery life is about 5 hours on standby. I have to carry an extra battery and charger with me everywhere I go. What a waste of money.
