Yes it is, to confirm just call T-Mobile.
If it’s unlocked, you will be able us your 8525 with T-Mobile. HOWEVER, this phone does not have the MyFaves software loaded into it, so you would not see the five faves on your screen. You could still go to and assign your faves on there though.
