Currently I have phone in the United States and I know the United States doesn 'cellphone, and the use of SIM cards but I want t buy the U.S. different phone because what I have now sucks. My contract isn 't going to work exhale 2 years. Is there way I can transfer my entire Info (phone number, contacts, etc.…) to different phone in the United States that want to buy?

  1. Talk to your carrier and see if they have a way to transfer for you. Cell phones have software so there’s a chance (if they have the equipment) they can copy the information from the old phone to the new phone, as long as your phone will power on and doesn’t have liquid damage.

  2. US Cellular should be able to transfer the number to a new phone. It is law in the USA that cellular numbers be portable to whatever phone and/or service you choose. If you are purchasing a new US Cellular phone, then they should be able to move the number for you, but you will still be under the terms of the contract you signed.
