Motorola has announced the new Motorola Brute to the US mobile market. It is a clamshell phone with shell in accordance with military specifications 810F as regards resistance to moisture, dust and falls.  Motorola Brute features include a Brute-resolution QVGA internal display, 2.0 megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth and GPS receiver.

Here is our short review of this cell phone and its main features:

This mobile phone is going to be sold exclusively by the Sprint mobile and it will cost only $119.99.

We do not yet know if Motorola Brute will be also sold in Europe.

It was the foreign US telecom operator Sprint to disclose the details on about this new mobile. This is a model designed to be shock resistant, dust, vibration, intense sunlight, rain, humidity and extreme temperatures.

The Brute i680 has a clamshell shape, includes a 2 megapixel camera, 2.2-inch TFT internal display with 176 x 220 pixel resolution, a 1.3-inch external display with a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and Li-Ion 1750 mAh.

It also features a media player, microSD memory entry for up to 8 GB, overall size 99.5 x 53 x 26 mm and weighs 159.5 grams.

Clearly the design is not beautiful, but the phone focuses on its strength and endurance that should overshadow the aesthetic side of this phone.
