HTC Evo 3D Review
HTC’s new 3D mobile phone called Evo 3D is an interesting device that not only can take pictures and record video in 3D,
but it’s display is also viewable and usable in 3D mode.
Well if you’re wondering if it will have a “fake 3D” do not worry, you will not need any special equipment in order to enjoy the display in 3D, and will feature the brand new HTC interface Sense 3.0.
The much-anticipated Android smartphone from HTC – EVO 3D from the Taiwanese company intends to tarnish the minds of buyers from the Samsung Galaxy S II and LG Samsung 3D Optimus, which were released some time ago.
In addition to providing a spectacular quality 3D the phone offers a great browsing, instant image capture (ideal when you need to capture images at high speed) and HD video playback experience (720p).
With its 4.3-inch QHD screen that lets you view movies, videos, photos and high quality 3D games, 3D EVO HTC takes entertainment to new heights. It also provides an immersive 3D effect stereo surround sound, whic is a completely new world to explore on smartphones.
A closer look at HTC Evo 3D:
HTC 3D EVO includes a powerful dual 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and uses the new HTC Sense UI.
Here is a a video review of HTC Evo 3D that shows, how this phone compares to iPhone 4:
It enables you to easily navigate various menus in 3D, and customize the active screen lock applications and the most important tools the user wants to easily and instantly access: Internet, email, social networking, SMS. In addition, the successful HTC Weather application includes new 3D animations in full screen for the user to feel like you’re strolling through the clouds.
The other tech specs are also pretty amazing: 3D display of 4.3 “with resolution of 960 x 540 pixel QHD, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM866 SoC with an operating frequency of 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 1GB of onboard ROM, dual rear camera to take 5megapixel pictures in 2D and 3D 2megapixel with auto focus and dual LED flash, capable of both 2D and 3D video recording in HD at 720p, front camera 1.3M Pixel. No, I’m finished here.
SRS Virtual Surround Sound, FM Radio, DLNA support, a 3.5mm audio jack, microSD slot, 1730mAh battery suitable, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, 3G connectivity with download up to 14.4Mbps and upload speeds up to 5.76 Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0 with EDR, GPS and Wi-Fi and USB tethering.
HTC Evo 3D tech specs are somewhat similar to HTC Sensation:
- 4.3-inch stereoscopic 3D display
Android 3.0 Sense interface
Dual-core processor 1.2 GHz
Ram Memory – 1 GB
1GB onboard memory + 8 GB microSD available with the packaging
Battery 1,730 mAh
Double 5-Mpixel camera (2 Megapixel 3D photos)
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and HSPA
2D/3D Video 720p playback and recording
The cellphone is available for purchase on the price around 625 € at the moment, which is a quite high prices for a mobile phone. But if you can afford it then it is a great phone to have.

Is 3D really here to stay? I have seen what glasses free 3D looks like thanks to the Nintendo 3DS, but I wonder how long the battery, and our heads, can last with it turned on all the time. Though it is exciting to see glasses free 3D regardless.

the first 3D device to land on Mobile Market with dual 5 megapixel camera. Also no 3D glass is needed for 3D effect.

1730 mAh doesn’t seem like nearly enough to power a 3D screen for any reasonable length of time. Anyone know what its like? I’m quite curious.
