A reverse cell phone search lets you instantly find out who owns any phone number. You can find out someone’s full name, address, locations details and other background information by having nothing else but their phone number.

You usually have to pay for this type of service, but there is a free way to find out the same information. Let’s cut right to the chase and find out how this is done.

Grab the phone number that you are “investigating” and fire up your computer. Go to Google and type in the phone number in this format: “555-555-5555” (include the quotation marks). Press the search button and wait for your results to come up.

You are hoping that this phone number has been published online at some point in time. People will post their phone number on the internet for various reasons; they might be posting a classified ad or entering information on a ‘profile’ page. If this number has ever found it’s way on the internet, Google will find it.

If you see an exact match in your results have a look at the webpage and see what you can find out. Is the person’s name listed? How about their address? You are hoping to get as much information as you can about the owner of the number.

This trick will often work – give it a stab and see if you can find what you are looking for. If not, you can still get full details on the person by spending a few bucks on a paid service.

There are companies that pay money to have access to all phone records (including unlisted and cell phone numbers) and then build massive databases for people to conduct a search through. Not only do law enforcement and government agencies use there services, but it is also available to the general public.

It’s not expensive and you can do it all online. All you do is type in the phone number and then the owner’s name, address, location details and background information is instantly displayed on the computer screen.

There’s a link at the bottom of this article you can use to try a free sample search. It’s impressive to see how much information you can find out about someone with nothing but their phone number.

One tip to save yourself a few dollars is to use a company that charges a flat fee for unlimited searches. You will only be billed once and can then run a search whenever you want (both now and in the future). This makes it a lot less expensive than paying for each individual reverse cell phone search.

A reverse cell phone search can come in handy any time you need to “investigate” a certain phone number. Thanks to technology it only takes a couple of minutes and can all be done safely and privately just by logging on to the internet. All the best!
